The Data Science Institute (DSI) at Columbia University and Bloomberg LP are pleased to announce a workshop on Machine Learning in Finance. This workshop will bring together preeminent speakers in the fields of machine learning and finance to offer insights for practitioners and academics. Topics will include the use of options data to detect insider trading and the use of Google search data to detect early warnings of financial crises.
The workshop will be held at Columbia University under the auspices of the Financial and Business Analytics Center, one of the constituent centers in the DSI, and the Center for Financial Engineering.
