Adjunct Assistant Professor

Nicholas Ruozzi is a postdoctoral research scientist and an adjunct assistant professor at the Data Science Institute. His current research interests include combinatorial optimization, large-scale graphical models, approximate counting and inference, and belief propagation style message-passing algorithms with an emphasis on applications in machine learning, statistical physics, and artificial intelligence. He received a B.S. degree from Cornell University in computer science and a Ph.D. in computer science from Yale University.
