Leadership Exchange

Expert Insight. Real Discussion. Strategic Impact.

AI and related technologies are evolving faster than you can keep up. As business leaders, how do you stay knowledgeable of all the changes, get real answers to your questions, and still stay on top of your heavy work load — without taking weeks-long classes or attending multiple conferences where only some of the information is relevant to your challenges?

The answer: An ICN Leadership Exchange

DSI students, faculty, and mentors

What is a Leadership Exchange?

Leadership Exchanges are half-day sessions (morning or afternoon) on a cutting-edge new technology your organization is exploring.

The session is part learning and part discussion. An expert Columbia DSI faculty member will prepare a talk designed to address the challenge you outline. At the conclusion of the talk, the faculty researcher will sit down with your team (or clients) for an in-depth discussion on the new technology, its capabilities, its limits, and what the research community sees as the biggest issues to commercial deployment in an open, discussion-filled environment. You and your team (or clients) spend a half day examining a technology and mapping its benefits to your business.

Why It Matters

It's only a matter of time before the next big thing is being harnessed for advancement, efficiency and greater ROI.

Sessions can be held in-person on Columbia’s campus at DSI (NWC Suite 1401, 550 West 120th Street, New York NY) or virtually.

They are designed to bring your team quickly up to speed on the given topic, the terminology associated, advantages/disadvantages, opportunities, and challenges.
