Creating Rubrics with AI
A 60-minute session for Columbia instructors.
Rubrics clarify what success looks like for students and make grading more consistent and efficient – but designing a good one is time-consuming. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll explore how AI can act as a starting point to help you draft, revise, adapt a rubric for one of your assignments.
You’ll experiment with AI suggestions and refine them to match your goals and your students’ needs. This session will give you a jumpstart on rubric design, while keeping you at the center of the process.
