The Food for Humanity Initiative connects Columbia's climate science expertise with food systems research, education, and partnership — addressing the interconnected challenges of food security, environmental sustainability, and climate resilience.

On April 23, 4 pm, we will welcome Andrew Berardy, Dr. Andrew Berardy, Assistant Professor, Department of Geography and Earth Sciences, U.S. Military Academy at West Point, to discuss solutions for sustainable food systems throughout the life cycle of food, including production and behavior change as well as the potential role of artificial intelligence.
