About Our Guest
Dr. Judd Walson is the inaugural Robert E. Black Chair of the Department of International Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. A physician trained in internal medicine, pediatrics, and infectious diseases, his work focuses on interventions to improve child survival, growth, and development across Africa and South Asia.
He co-leads the CHAIN Network, advancing strategies to reduce mortality among acutely ill children, and leads the DeWorm3 trial, a landmark study working to eliminate intestinal parasites affecting vulnerable communities.
